Thanks Evertte,
I was pretty confident that the build sheet was incorrect or fake but I thought I would see if there was something I was missing.
If I was the owner , I would want to get to the bottom of that build sheet immediately and find out if it came from VW or from a prior owners Adobe computer app. |
The Birth Certificate has a mistake on it, trying to get them to correct it wasn't worth the time. This bus is the real deal and as rare as sunroofs buses come. |

Everything else looks correct to me, I think they just messed up M82
Unfortunately VW has been known to make birth certificate mistakes, usually putting later information on them that is incorrect for an earlier Bus. |
Thanks for educating him Everett. |

Sitting on the edge of my seat. Will it be bought down to CA for OCTO June 4th? I would love to see it in person. _________________ September 1964 Standard Sunroof walk through SWR/BG original paint. |

To answer your question from 5 years ago, the interior panels with wood trim might just be like the "Uber" panels which Clara on this site sells.
My Sunroof Swivelseat Kombi wasn't M-coded for them, but I sure installed them.

And the rear cargo deck card with the wood edge trim to keep goods from sliding behind the rear seat. This was a conjecture on my part which Campingbox and Clara brought to reality. After we did this, photos emerged of an actual Kombi interior with this wood edging from the factory, so my guess turned out to be correct.

So after so many years Zombi is done!!!!😊😎Had a mess up with the battery on its maiden voyage thus no engine pics until I get the apron repainted.
All the mods are bolt on so its next care taker if desired can put it back ro stock. Anyways
