First attempt 😄
Need a better sewing machine
And some modifications to the working and assembly process
So we don’t have the line in the semi leather
And not convinced off collor combo …
Otherwise not to bad for a couple off amateurs 😄👍🏻

Will you be adding the anodized aluminum strips over the sew line? I think that would accentuate the line at the semi leather intentionally.

I cant seem to find those chrome moldings.. or they are way overpriced 🥵
Want the panels to be like the picture below
Need to fold the fabric on the back the other way I suppose, or cut the
excess fabric way shorter

BBT or CSP can supply those trims (WW) ... just bought them as well for my doors:-) Have not received them yet, so still need to fit.
I just glued the fabric to the board with a 4-5mm overlap. That overlap should be covered with the trim.

Or indeed cut the excess fabric shorter so it is not showing that much?

Door cards okey… made allot of tests and mistakes
It worked out 🥵

Seat upholstery… making a cover from scratch… no previous experience
Not even the old cover to use as template
Not the original springbox… OMG 🤯
Test cover made and we are both satisfied 😄
Now we make the real deal 🤞🏻

It turns out i have an oil leak (or multiple) on my engine
There was oil on the left and right side
And push rod tubes where in oil
I did stretch the old ones and reuse them, so i assumed it was my stupid mistake.

So ordered a csp set with installation tool, easy fix i thought don't need to take out the engine or take off the heads…

Image may have been reduced in size. Click image to view fullscreen.

Today i took off the tins underneath the engine so i could have a better look.
Turns out the oil comes from higher 😩
On the right side the thermostat was also soaked in oil

Time for a test
Cleaned everything with brake cleaner
Started up the engine, immediately i had oil on the left side push rod tube

The engine run for almost an hour, right side still dry ??
And left side one or two drops on the floor
Most came out when i started the engine ?
Push rod tubes don’t leak …
Oil cooler ? Why oil on the right side ?
Upper side of the engine bone dry.

Now i let him sit for a couple of days
Any suggestions?
