Good day Guys,

Just would like to know if the 2.5ltr natural aspirated engine can be installed in the engine bay without cutting anything.

No.
You gotta cut part of the firewall where the factory cooling pipes end up.

I have never cut. Just bend it out of the way.

Especially concidering how clean the rest of it is.

i literally just dropped it off the lift about an hour ago

basically it exits the heads and crosses over under the bell housing, goes into a small cheater cat and then into the muffler

i'll try and snap a pic on the ground. if you don't hear from me, feel free to message me... my memory is shot these days

Bending the metal is a shit job.
I like your approach Skills, it's neat with no PS & AC.

I have not used the wrap around pipe yet bc with AC & PS the reverse cooling manifold avoids cluttering the access door/rear engine space.

not sure how the commercially available pipes are routed, but mine are pretty low

Your muffler is along the side, not across the back like stock system is with it's heat shield.
It looks good this way from these views because it makes things look cleaner with more room for your hands if you need to get into it.

I'm getting a system that's more stock routed. The coolant manifold is reversed so there's no plumbing across the back under the overflow bottle but the coolant return is routed like yours with plenty of separation from the exhaust. I'm considering making a double wall heat shield with forge refractory wool sandwiched between. I shouldn't need to tinker with it but I might anyway just because I can.

I went and cut the sheet metal where your main coolant likes pass the firewall a long time ago...that dosn't bother me too much, I didn't like that sharp corner hanging down there.

I'll show it off after I get some miles on it.

Your engine bay is dealership clean ! Mine has what I think is a liberal sloshing of wax oil which has collected some dirt. I haven't found a cleaner that works on that without a lot of rubbing and soaking. Glad it's not rusty but I don't love the brown goo.

Your 2.5ltr was it a twin cam version or a single overhead cam version?

yea, never was a fan of the stock looking setup. the way i see it no need to throw heat back into the engine, let alone the timing belt. some of the newer subaru's have the cat/exhaust looped under the t belt but they have massive amounts of heat shields there.

thank you. that was the point. still thinking i will have the intake pipe powder coated to look a bit more stock-ish.

the engine is a SOHC
