apparently "Das Gewand" (the robe) was the first full feature movie filmed in Cinemascope in 1953. _________________ regards

My cool Feb '63 panel. Super original and remarkably solid (needs cab floor section)
The original 1500 SP has been replaced with a 1200cc engine #50458**
M Plate decoded:
L84 - White / 80 - Grey interior
425 - North American export package.
Plan is try to recover original signwriting 'Pleasing Particular People, Pond's Dry Cleaning & laundry' and treat the body with boiled linseed oil or Owatrol oil paint conditioner.
I am not going to slam it or do anything naughty for the time being, new cab window rubbers, etc. |

Fichtel & Sachs headquarters in my hometown. not just the famed sachs motor, but also clutches, automatic transmissions, etc. shocks, ball bearings, you name it, if it moves in a car it was made in my hometown. SKF as well.
SW is the licenseplate for Schweinfurt. _________________ regards

I don't recall the logos down the side in that build thread and now I can't find the build thread at all? It was one of my favorites, this version of the quality sound bus is interesting but it's still a killer bus and back story.
