Hi, I bought from woldfurb west the 8 mm fuel valve for a 1950 split, part number 211209021A but I can’t figure out the positions. I know it should be open when up, reserve when horizontal to the right and shut off in between. The thing is this valve moves 180 degrees, and I can’t find with certainty the respective positions. Thanks for the help.

Can you just put the handle in each position and just blow through the outlet? Won't that tell you which inlet is open or closed at a particular handle position?

off to the left, on straight up, reserve to the right. Split, zwitter, and probably some early ovals go 180 degrees. Ovals at some point went to 90 degrees which is much easier to remember.

Aren't those WW valves backwards unless you swap the tubes?
