Hello friends!

I'm just a shade tree mechanic but I do enjoy busses.
Check out my video if you like
https://youtu.be/QLg96gxzR7k

Here's my problem:
I have a 1972 Camperbus.
MAX HEIGHT of my underground parking is 6'6".
Since replacing the rear torsion bushings and installing the proper tires, I appear to be about an inch too tall. I did squeeze in with a spotter, but I had 1/2" clearance, and I could not exit the same way, unless I exit in reverse. This isn't workable.

So here's my idea and you tell me if this is ridiculous or not:
buy 2 of these:

https://www.cip1.ca/acc-c10-7047/

Put them on and squeeze myself in/out, take them off outside the gate

This isn't my daily driver so I'm ok just storing it in the underground at full height.

If just an inch, let air out of the tires as an interim method.

Gorgeous Bus. It sits pretty high. If it was me and you are planning to use the underground garage for a while, I'd be tempted to lower the bus properly - just a little.

How far did you forget before you realized you hadn't put the mustache bar on?

Ten fifty pound bags of sand might do it.

I'd be looking for different parking.

dropped spindles on the front and re-index the rear plates for a small drop. easy reversible if you don't like it.
