end of the connected tube tubing connects to the intake manifold. The black tube that is not attached is attached to the lower picture part.

Idk what either part is. The wires from pic 2 run into the main wiring bundle at the front of eng compartment.

Some vacuum switch of some kind, tapped into an existing connector. Strange.

It is a vacuum switch used to replace the switches built onto the throttle body. GoWesty used to sell them before they came out with the entire replacement throttle body. I have installed them a few times. I really liked the way they worked and wish they continued to sell them.

Thanks, That is what I thought. So does that render the disconnected hose at the new switch and the #2 picture component not necessary?
