Having period correct luggage with our old cars is fun and looks great, especially at car shows or group rides. I just found this one at a yard sale today. I think it will be perfect to hide my jumper cables. I'm guessing it's from the 60's.
Let's see what cool luggage people have.

I used to work at a luggage store when I was around 18 yrs old, so I’ve collected more than a few bags but I use this oversized picnic basket the most.

Great thread Marc.
We have a tan set similar to yours
It belonged to the in-laws.
I have carried two of the three piece set in Sophia for years.
I use the small overnight/make-up case for spares and tools.
The medium case stores my display signage.

I don't have my Ghia at the moment so I can't post a pic of the car together with the luggage I have. But here's a teaser:
I received this item from the estate of a journalist who had attended a murder trial in 1957 and kept notes, newspaper clippings, photographs, etc., and exchanged correspondence with the condemned man. The suitcase fits into the front luggage trunk of my car, and I have an even better set of two matching suitcases that fit side by side in the back of the car. More pics tomorrow.

Oops, Sorry kiwighia68
I have considered looking for a cool old case or maybe a picnic basket for Joan
I am leaning more towards a vintage multiband radio _________________ "Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.”

I believe it's a crank, not a camshaft, but you are right, that display is AWESOME!!!

Another recent yard sale find. I think my parents had one very similar to this when I was a kid so I think this must be 1960's ?? _________________ Marc

I believe these suitcases were first offered in the '50s but continued well into the '70s. _________________ 1964 MG Midget MK1 Monte Carlo Replica

Great cases. Probably around the same age as the car judging by the latches. I have a couple pieces but later versions, reading "Zero Halliburton"and with square shaped latches. No wheels on these either, so best to have a strong back. _________________ 1964 MG Midget MK1 Monte Carlo Replica
