Golf Country syncro: Front CV joint/axle

Hello All,

Could anyone please help me with a North America source (Canada/USA) for the front axle or outer CV joint for my 1990 Golf Country? I have found a few European websites, but wondering of there is an equivalent part that could be easier to source.

Knowing VW, I can’t imagine that the outer CV joint would be any different than the one on a FWD Golf/Jetta.

Try sourcing one for a 1990 GTI with the 100mm joints. This CV would be the same on all 4cyl golf/Jetta mkIII up to m/y 1999.


However, in a pinch, the 90mm outer joints from a Golf/Jetta, all the way back to ‘81-ish, will still work on the 100mm axles.

Thanks! Easy enough to source the 100mm CV axles so I will try that.
