Hello I am working on a new to me trike.
"AE" motor and a full auto transmission.
My bike will start in any gear. I don't know where or what the shifter is from. I will need to rig something up but how should it be wired in an to what?
I am usually a ace with wiring diagrams in the Haynes manuals. But that was downright painful.
Like wise what should the kill switch on the bar be connected to?
I am new to VW air cooled so be nice, I catch on fairly quick sometimes! |

Howdy ...
Not sure of the neutral safety switch but many years ago I had a great side hustle installing kill switches in all types of vehicles. I always interrupted the ground switch of the ignition. It always worked well. I've also put a simple keyed switch on the dash - like those in a cupboard or filing cabinet.
Best of luck ...

Fully automatic transmission would be a type 3 or type 4 bus. They would have had a switch installed. I like what jinx mentioned about a switch, adds a layer of anti-theft to it as well. _________________ I think he meant "rare", as in "not well-done" |
