If this was a true 57 RHD it should have have semaphores also the bullets are pointing to the sky. Cool car though !!
(This 1957 VW Oval Window is fully restored and is a RARE true original RIGHT HAND DRIVE car.)

Is it just me or does the pic of the underside of the motor show the passenger side sled mounted on the driver side at the rear. Makes for an odd way to direct air if that's the case. |

You would think people would check around for what parts are going for instead of placing an ad with crazy prices. Just saying.... |
Holy Shite! Or do I need to jack up the price of mine |

Dunno. Wrong front apron sure, but a really good paint job (if it is good) with it's associated body prep work is easily 20-25k.
The interior is apparently there, glass, electrical, door pieces, etc.
If the chassis is ready to bolt parts onto also, I'm gonna say the price is maybe a couple of grand high only. |

Perhaps...with your being in the business and all, you probably have a better gauge than me. But that just seems like an awful lot of money for something that is so far from driving on the street, especially in this climate of slowly declining prices (<--my opinion). And admittedly I didn't read her whole ad in full, but I'm wondering what she means by "mostly complete." |

Now that's funny ^^^
I have to say, at $22.5, for a dealer sale, it does seem competitively priced if bright red Frankenstein is okay with the buyer.
Adding picture for posterity...
