Mid engine shifter originally made by Sand Fernando Buggy Center in San Fernando, California for their mid engine Sand Sprite chassis.
Prowlers bought the business and moved to the Santa Clarita area.
Prowlers closed up shop and is not building any chassis and parts.
From what I have heard Darren builds equipment use in the movie and television industries.
I can tell you that when a friend bought one for his Sand Sprite IV it did not come with any instructions and that was about 30 years ago.
My friend did call them when they sent it to him about instructions and was told it “Was self explanatory” on how to make it work.
I do remember that the bolt on the bottom had spring tension in it for the reverse lockout and was adjustable.

I do not have the shifter for this unit. I do not know if it needs a special shifter or just needs a Jamar style shifter with an adaptor for the clevis end.

Thank you.
