Hahaha, maybe his inspiration?

There's a chrome-looking car around here somewhere too, I think that's illegal though

Not out of the ordinary at all. I’ve seen
100s of those cars. Usually on Thursday nights Laughing

Fun fact. A new 308 for each season. They would auction them off each year

Thursday nights... It took me a second but I got that. Very Happy

Yes, maybe not super uncommon but I can't remember seeing one around here vs. tons of "common" American iron.

Hey EB, it’s a great photo and not that common. I was just having a goof Wink Speaking of American Iron. I was in the bug on my way to get some parts. This beautiful blue car rolls past me. Not sure of the details of this car. It was stunning. The picture does not do it justice.

While out running an errand this afternoon.
I spotted this Ford Boat Tail Racer rolling through a parking lot.

I have no idea what year it is. But it's pretty cool seeing someone driving that thing to work on a nice summer day.

It you look closely, at the side view.
You can see the car has brakes actuated by rods and levers. Cool

Saw one of these at the pumps this morning. It was maroon and red, a very nice 15 year old resto. Owner said he only drives it when the temps cool off a bit. Was 76 today, perfect Hudson cruising weather.

Not the actual truck, just a facsimile.
