Lifting it clear like this emphasizes the swing axles. Back then they were viewed as an asset, with many famous cars including racers using it. Pre-Nader, apparently! Wink

That's not a radio, its the fuel injection ECU. Often described as "barely larger than a paperback", hence what was probably a publicity photo.
