I know this is a dumb question but I have been looking for a couple days. I seen a picture on here of where the 5JKx14 is located on Thing Rims. I just can't find it. If any one could point me to that picture I would appreciate it. I am trying to buy some rims and want to make sure they are the correct rims.
Thanks and sorry for the dumb question

The size is normally stamped near the bolt holes. 5JKx14 was also used on buses, but bus rims won't work on the front end of a 181 because they have the wrong offset. The correct offset is ET 32.5

Here are a couple of pictures of my spare. Oddly enough, I couldn't find a date code on the spare.

Sorry if the question sounds dumb but dis type 182 ever come with 15 inch wheels? I have just rescued a RHD thing and it has what appear to be genuine thing wheels and they are 15 inch. The thing was parked for 35 years and I am fairly sure they came with the machine. Can anyone confirm please

Yes, the 1970 and early 1971 181 got 4.5K x 15 inch rims. The part number is 211.601.027E, which is the same as what was used on split window buses that had 15 inch rims. These were fitted until chassis number 181 2617 370.
