Are they not 12v based?

Or are you talking shore Power?

If it is uk to us .......
Simple enough..... providing you don't need 220v ........

Photos would help.

Germany 230 v two round prongs?

I would imagine that the dometic refrigerator would need a convertor?
I'm not sure how dometic dealt with the various voltage needs around the globe,

Yes, it’s German with two round prongs… the refrigerator is an Electrolux ac/dc, propane fridge. Eventually we’ll replace it, but we have no time to order a new one before a trip we planned. I guess we’ll just use it on dc and propane….

We’ll, I decided to pull that box out to find out what it is… turns out it’s a German shore power battery charger built in March 1995. Wow! It must weigh 25pounds!! That is permanently out now…..

To help people understand what you have, you need to identify what your van is as we all recognize it. It's a Vanagon / Transporter / Westfalia. Just calling it a European camper we could assume that it is Mazda Bongo or other vehicles we don't get in the states.

I saw that Ad and thought it wasn't as clear as it could have been. I would guess that the box is some kind of AC/DC converter for when you are parked and you want to use your cabin lights or anything DC powered. Follow the wires and see where they go.
