Its a 66, swing axle rear. previous owner took all the windows out and primed for paint, so im going to rattle can it (kinda ghetto but im poor) Black or maby OD green. Havent really decided on the color.
Has a 3 inch lift(brand unknown at the moment) and an after market stearing wheel.. and thats about all I know for the moment.

My Baja is also super low budget. Another option to think about….Walmart has bedliner for $41 a gallon. I am going to use that and paint it on with a roller. Maybe a little more cost than spray paint but indestructible! _________________ 1974 Superbeetle Bright Orange

I plan on useing similar stuff to do the inside of the tub..
I think ive decided on flat black for the outside, the paint job isant going to be the gratest as this will be my first attempt at painting a car.
As long as it all is one color in the end ill be happy |

I got a full gallon of paint, reducer and hardener for less than $75 and that should be enough for my whole Baja. _________________ There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.

We painted my friend's 928 with Blitz Black. One word of advice....make sure you have the paint shaken or stir the crap out of it. We didn't and is pretty streaky. _________________ 1974 Superbeetle Bright Orange

For what its worth they also have a matte green paint at the JD dealers that is basically the same as blitz black.
I believe its about the same price also _________________ There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.

about 6 rattle cans to paint a beetle body...
I have always used rattle cans on low budget rides, but this JD tractor paint is so cheap I might as well go with it! |

Well If the damn humidity will ever cool out on the weekend here, I might get a chance to let you know how the paint is once it is sprayed on
I hear this stuff is tough as nails, and if you scratch it, just break out the rattle can and spray right over your scratched sopt.
