Not sure what year this is for or what I should price it at. I'm still
new to the VW world and am learning how to price, sell, and everything else that comes along with it. If anyone could give me any information about it or what the best price is to sell it for would be greatly appreciated. I can post more pictures if necessary.

It all depends who is more desperate - the seller or buyer.
Sometimes, people price it so much looks like they want to keep it.
I have been to bugouts plenty and laugh when people jack up their prices and they end up loading and hauling all that crap back.
If you intend to rid of all that junk, price it so the people will take them. Then again, sometimes they pay you to haul it from their lot.
all depends. |

It will be again, like others have said, $50-$100 but what others have forgotten, you cant make it cheap enough to make a profit when the buyer has to pay shipping. Right now, with a box, shipped, will be around $150 anywhere in the US and nobody is going to pay that amount for a decklid in that condition. Sell it locally for the lower of these amounts and consider yourself lucky. The used parts market on large items has no where to go but up since Greyhound no longer has a package express. |

Interesting that nobody has mentioned that the interior color appears to be L380 Turkis. So, going off the original color that makes it a 61-63 lid. Yeh sure it would be correct for a 58-60 also but there is a huge following of L380 cars. There’s even a Turkis Mafia group on Facebook.
This lid is worth in the neighborhood of $150-$250!, possibly more however as a previous poster note, shipping is expensive. Clean the interior really well! And post it in the Facebook group or here on TS noting the L380 Turkis / Turquoise color! That blue paint is nothing! Dealship Sticker is neat but not on the car when new obviously. _________________ 57 euro sedan
