Rough T3 week for me. 1st, I find the nastiness of rodents in the speedster... then today, go to build out the longblock today for the Roach and the Mahle standard bearings aren't. They are 20 under. Grrrrrrrr! Now, I have to wait for the next new ones to arrive. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

Well, the engine assembly is on hold until the new bearings arrive, but my dry sump pump arrived yesterday afternoon.
I did manage to mount the crank trigger yesterday on the right case half.

I sure hope my theory works on this set up...
Sorting out how much spring I will need is the tough part. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"

My pulley for the trigger wheel is stock t1 size. It doesn't clear the dry sump. Well, it didn't. My friend Craig did his thing on his lathe and bingo! Full size pulley with degree marks fits!

I purchased a cheap "stinger" to weld on body work studs. I am hoping that minimal spot grinding and the slide hammer will allow me to straighten some scrapes and dents without effecting the look too much.
It will be an interesting experiment. _________________ 64 No'back Speedster "Pearl"
