I want to be very careful applying anything to my black dash top material. This is the original dash from 1973 with a small crack by the ashtray. Want to preserve and protect it. So far I have only lightly cleaned it with soap and water. Any safe products to use? On some things in the past I have used mineral oil with good results. Any other safe ideas out there?

Stay away from Armor All.
I use 303 Aerospace and have had good results for many years on all rubbers.

Thanks for the tip on Aerospace 303. It seems perfect for my dash material.
