Ashtray mount on 21 window samba

Everett, two questions:

Do the rivets holding the ashtray backing plate go all the way through the metal partition, or just the panel board?

And can you provide a photo of the walk-thru partition from the driver’s side showing the other end of those panel rivets? Thanks!

It's only passes through the board, not the metal divider

I don't have a photo of the back of the board.
I'd remove my panel for back side pics but since it's a "late" panel, it's riveted on.

Maybe someone has one loose to show the backside but I think it's simply smashed rivets.

How about the rivets holding the board in place? Do you just see smashed pop-rivet barrels on the forward side of the metal? That’s how my interior guy did it, and it’s fine. I’m just curious how it compares to a factory install. Thanks!

That’s the view I needed. It looks more or less like my rivets, except it appears to have been ground down and cleaned up a little. Thanks for providing that!
