carb tuning and mileage

Hello dear all
My bug is super beetle 1302. It is consited 1600cc single port engine with 30 pict 3 carb. The car does bitween 7-8km per liter with air condition within city limits.The carb specifications are as follow main jet-120 air correction jet-170 pilot jet- g55 auxilliary jet-g35. i changed main jet upto 127 with 125 air correction jet according to Robs and Dave aircool page article and their given instructions. distributor - Bocsh 043 905 205 K.
I tuned up according to their tune up guideline with tacho meter.
But no change. Please help me to increase my mileage

Are you sure the air correction jet is 170?? Last time you posted about this it was 70. Best to not just start a new thread about same subject, instead go back and put a new post on the old.
