Hey guys, Working on installing a hydraulic clutch on my swing axle rail, bought the CNC kit a few years back. Went to remove the cable guide with a grinder on the side covers and quickly remembered that it was alum-mag. Is there a recommended method for removal?

Thanks!

People grind on these trans all the time to convert swingaxles from 180 mm flywheel to 200mm.

Don’t cut it off, you need it for one end of slave cylinder threaded part.
It actually the end where you adjust the throw out bearing freeplay.

Thanks! The Bowden tube is pretty warn from the previous owner having a bare cable running through it. I'll use it and see how it works out, If I need to grind it off to mount the bolt-on heim system I will. Thanks for the advice!
