Im getting floors replaced, I have purchased both the left and right side floors, as well as the floor side members. But generally do you replace the tunnel as well? or If they're in good shape can they be reused? Also, if Im not going to run heat, I know the heater channel is structural, so Im assuming I can't leave that space empty but can I put something else in its place? (almost like a solid beam?).

Lastly, as far as paint, are there different shades of Zenith Blue? I had searched some different pictures and some seem to be very different shades than others. Thanks for your time as always guys!

The tunnel is generally not replaced. That's the backbone of the pan, so to speak.

The Baja Bug folks, that don't need heat. Sometime replace the heater channels with a 3x2 square tube. For structural strength. You' have to research that mod. I have never needed to do it. I like heat.

ZenithBlau is an odd color. Sometime it looks grey, other times it looks baby Blue. It really depends on weather the car is sun baked, or garage kept, out of the sunlight.

In a general sense, the tunnel is the car. The rest of the car is built on and around the tunnel.

Thanks for the help guys!

Do you have an interior pic of your Zenith?

I also found this shade on google which looks way different https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0c/02/cc/0c02cc7a858aa11ba08b56b218487631.jpg
