Hi guys, so im working on a 93 eurovan 2.5L weekender 5 speed manual. It was in a small wreck before I purchased it, so purchased as a project.
heres the problems ive found so far, no ground to fuel pump relay, hall sender only receiving ground and positive when key is on and its only 5 volts, injectors not firing. I was thinking maybe ecu but I tried it on my 93 2.5L auto and it started right up, I also tried the ecu from the other 93 and it acted the same way. All relays and fuses have been checked and seem to check out ok.
I have not found any bad connections and ecu seems to be getting correct power imput.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly apprciated

If you look on the wiring diagram, you should be able to find where that ground is sourced from, and there should be a reference that shows which connectors it passes through, and where it's connected to the chassis. Follow from end to end until you find the fault.

Assuming same as ACU, check the ground beneath, or by, the oil pressure sensors. It's actually the only engine block ground I can find other than starter ground, mine was filthy and definitely seemed to run smoother after clean-to-shiny.

thank you for the replies, I did clean all the grounds I could find including the engine block. If I understand it correctly the ecu should provide the ground for the fuel pump relay? Im having a hard time finding a good wiring diagram for a 93.

Hope this will help. There are two grounds on the block, one that was mentioned second was by the injector conector. One on trans, firewall, by coil and above ecu,

When I redid my grounds I wanted to daisy chain all the grounds. So I added that. That brown wire is the ground for the o2 sensor if I remember correctly.
