The needles are press fit onto the spindle. When I removed them from my clock to convert it into a tach, I used a fork. Slide the fork under the needles so that the spindle is between the fork teeth, then pull upward. If you plan on re-using the clock internals, make sure you pull straight upward and not sideways or you'll bend the spindle. This also works with speedo needles. _________________ Currently own:

A small cloth to protect the face. Two spoons with the tips under the needles and backs resting on the cloth. Push down on the spoon handles to apply a controlled force on the needles
The needles push on. Has someone done something like glue your's on?

I'm affraid about the Idea of the glue... Nothing works.... It will finish vith a dremel... 😥 |
