The estate seller people told my friend they will be taking the highest offer which was $35k as of a week ago.

Not a fan of eBay, don’t care to sign up either, with that being said WOW that’s a lot of money, without knowing many of its flaws, condition of the belly, condition of the windows, etc..

And those numbers are putting it lightly. Nowadays a quality convertible top job including new wood, padding, stayfast top not to mention the mechanism restoration can push up 7500 to 10 depending on who’s doing the work. It’s a slippery slope with these damn ragtops lol

Might as well continue my trend of following the decrementing price...
Made a stop at something like 27 or 26.5 a few weeks back...now down to $25k.
I don't think most people want to plunk down that kind of dough for a totally incomplete project that may or may not have all the parts that go with it. If it was, say $20k, and a different color, like polar or strato silver, or diamond green or diamond grey, I'd be all over it. |
