I need a replacement 5 speed. I put the OD 5th gear in mine a few years ago after the original let go, but now it has happened again. Prob needs a complete rebuild, but time is not on my side. I would like to drop the trans, and put another one in. I know VW/Audi used this trans in several different vehicles. Is there another vehicle that is compatible? _________________ Well my time went so quickly, I went lickity spickly out to my ol' 55. |

Sorry, the 02b transmission was only used in the Eurovan/T4. It has a very specific bolt pattern to orient the engine to learn towards the front of the van as opposed to towards the passengers, as in vw cars. |
OK Thanx!! _________________ Well my time went so quickly, I went lickity spickly out to my ol' 55. |

Thanks for info that the later 5 speed fits the 93 t4 .. mine pops out of 5 but I think it's a linkage problem.. Where again can I source the linkage parts? I'm back in PR for a visit so I'm driving my EV this & next week.. but when I come for winter I want to fix it right... Whee power steering.. My bay doesn't have that. Bill Vt & PR |
