Anyone know how to find out its worth? I've searched google and ebay.
Only markings "made in spain" on the back and front of the chrome piece, nothing on the brass part. It has 2 threaded posts for mounting.

What I think you have is a badge that the enamel was damaged and later removed. The eagle should be black and the background white. If it were not damaged, I would guess around $125. In that condition, I would say $40. Confused The "real" ADAC badges are made in Germany.

Here's my badge. I don't think this style of badge ever had the white and black colors. Mine show no sign of ever having color.
All repop ADAC badge's I have seen are flat on not convex like this style.
Most ADAC badge that have only the eagle like these have mounting holes at 3 and 9 o'clock and at 12, 4 and 8 o'clock.

I'll say this...

It sure is pretty.

...but the fine lines on the adler are almost too fine. Suspiciously fine if you know what I'm saying.

Those badges all had Black and White colors at one time. They either chipped out or wore off or were removed. The ADAC w/o Black and White is like an American flag badge w/o Red, White, or Blue...............it just doesn't happen. Wink

The cog wheel style tells the story...these where made in the late 60ties and early 70ties when it was "cool" to have a lot of badges on your car from diffrent car clubs. These where often in this cog wheel style.

They may have started then, but they are still being sold today.

This guy has many of them.

I just got an ADAC badge from Mario Steinhauser.
It had been modified for bumper mount by someone along the way by attaching an "L" bracket to the back with epoxy. Worked great.
