Five and ten = Nickel and dime = Five and dime = Nickel and ten

I've heard it all sorts of other names too: dollar store, variety store, mom'n'pop shop, corner store, but just one of those local little places that would have low priced basic stuff( i.e. home goods, toys, candies )

Bonus points for old advertising present (old low gas price, window advertising, business name/logo painted on the building)

Current challenge:

YVWNT: An abandoned/rundown/disused local gas station, "service station", or "five and ten" store
.

Hmmmmm! Well that sux! They even carried E85 when they were an open fueling station, years ago. It's been closed for quite sometime.

Up next,

YVWN: To a pumpkin display, be it the grocery, or a pumpkin patch, whatever!

Thanks Bob.
It's pretty rough, and in need of paint. There are small dents all over the place on the body,
The front bumper mounts are bent down, so the bumper is not 90° straight.
The bumper mod was done by the buttholes that stole my car last November.

If there are no objections.

This was done not too long ago but I like it as it’s easy.
Since it is easy, is there any rule that prevents one from requiring a small number of participants to complete the challenge before it is met?
In this instance YVWNT a farmers market or fruit stand completed by four people?
Just wondering if we can put conditions on a challenge in such a way.

How about "Four VWs next to a farmers market or fruit stand"?

You mean like this?

This was the last night, of our Tuesday Night Farmers Market. Each year ends with an honor to the lowly VW!

This pic does not count. I pulled it off my phone a couple minutes ago.

Hmmm... not very many VWs in this town, one or two I think. I could tow the sand rail into town (not registered for the road) with the street Buggy, get the Missus to drive the Jetta there too. Fruit truck will be there tomorrow...

Just need to convince one more VW owner to show up, how hard could that be? Now just need to know who it is that drives that other Jetta...

Right, seems a little difficult and the challenge is your VW next too… So it sounds like the proposal is a combo challenge of YVWNT three other VW’s and a farmers market or fruit stand, no?

Well - "YVWNT 3 other VWs at a farmer's market or fruit stand" fits. Maybe it's all in the wording.

Or we could just stay with:

Your VW Near an outdoor farmers market or fruit stand.

I'm not playing in this challenge.

I have the spindles off my car for a disc brake upgrade.
