I received an email from one of the big 2 suppliers for LED dash lights and went down the rabbit hole. I could not believe that a compete set of lights (10) could possible cost $70 plus tax and shipping. I went to my local electronic store and was able to order the exact same items for $22 out the door. I guess the box cost $50

Do you have any info on 6 volt led dash lights. All I see are 12 volt.

I don't think I would change the gen. light to LED unless the Mfg. states it won't affect the charging.

Star bucket, I think you are talking alternator, not generator like I have. Those with more knowledge than me will hopefully chime in.

Don’t plan on changing alternator or oil light as they are plenty bright, day or night. Remaining lights are too dim, hopefully LED’S will brighten up the dash at dusk or dark.

Changed all of them out. Found out the Geni light was on or off only. It takes more amps/volts to trigger than standard so I pulled it out and replaced with standard bulb. Found same thing for oil.
Other than that the dash lights up brighter.

Good to know, haven’t ordered mine yet but will soon. Can they be dimmed like standard 6volt dash lights?
Where did you purchase them from?
So now I have three winter projects -good.
1. Led dash lights
2. Third brake light. Have purchased two 8 in 6 volt units from Stoddard.
3. A 6 to 12 volt inverter to change the cigarette lighter to 12volts to feed my Garmin & charge my cell phone when traveling.
Looks like a good winter.
