I had to sell it when I got divorced a few years back, it lives on with my friend Axel in Germany as part of his great collection. |

As Willie Nelson says “Divorce is expensive…but worth it” I agree. Lucky you and lucky Alex. |

That looks like a really solid survivor with provenance, and compared to the market a pretty reasonable price. Someone should get a nice car.

Ugh, the driver side rocker and likely heater channel are roached. But a skilled guy could replace the metal and blend in keeping the OG paint. Interior from what is shown looks decent. With a little work it could be a killer patina ride. But with that rust is $25k realistic? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

I owned this 59 for a few months a couple years ago. The original paint and interior on this lowlight are amazing. I added a nice 59 only horn button emblem as the original was missing, and the whitewall tires while I owned it. It seems the original overrider bumpers have gone missing - they were still on the car when I had it.
There was a fair amount of rust in the rockers and heater channels. That combined with how brittle and fragile the original floor mats and upholstery were made me afraid to sit in it, let alone drive it, so when the previous owner expressed interest in buying it back, I was wiling to let it go. It's the beauty and curse of an original car.
