Got to say. I've met a few people over the years with engineering degrees that have absolutely no business touching anything mechanical. Just thought I'd toss that out there. Rolling Eyes

I wasn't going to post that one, because I didn't want to make anyone here too upset.

But since it was, and because I owned plenty of Beetles as well as two red 1990 Corrados... (I wonder where Hammond got the idea? They did improve upon it a bit with their stunt.)

Stopped and looked at a Bay that was sitting for sale on the side of the road years ago that had no cooling tins installed. The people in the house told me in no uncertain terms that it had no problems with over heating. Crying or Very sad

The van also had weird wrinkles in the body that made it look like it might have been dropped from 15' in height or so. The seller didn't acknowledge any problems there either.

Next time I drove by it was gone and I have wondered how the unwitting buyer made out with his find. Crying or Very sad

I once climbed aboard a 737 that looked like that - panels in the lower fuselage had all seen some hard landing . .

Wonder about some of the wrinkles maybe being from a fire or else they saw that Pamper Bus Shasta Snow Run video and decided to jump their bus ..
