I'm curious to see some more pictures of this. With that size battery pack I would assume they are only using it when needed and not full time unless they have a generator on the engine.

From the site it looks like the single battery enclosure is either 25 or 35 kWh.

I think Jim at Bostig is doing something similar. He posted a video a while back driving a syncro with a front electric motor. I'd expect whatever he comes up w/ to be lower in price.

This is a hybrid but not in the same way my Prius is a hybrid.

The Prius shares the same drivetrain gasoline and electric.

This Van has two distinct drivetrains that can work in harmony with the other or as a stand alone drive train.

Edited out anti-EV crap, please focus on the GoWesty EV

We already know how you feel about EV's, stop telling us your opinion over and over and over and over and........

Thank You

Really? Abscate made a sarcastic comment, which I guess some people took literally. What Dan said about his Solar making electric during the day and then he sucks the power back in the night is basically right (or it is when you have an in-house battery). My joke about he needs panels that make power at night should have been obvious that is WAS a joke, by the emoji at the end.

For crying out loud, I own and drive an EV!!
(I bet some of the commenters do not.)
I drove 60 electric miles yesterday and will again today, as I do virtually every weekday.
Yeah, I'm anti-EV Rolling Eyes

These projects are about web hits and marketing, not about EVs

Bringing an EV to market is a completely different ball of wax than bolting some stuff into a T3 and making a hybrid. I respect them doing this as a good marketing tool

Retrofitting EVs into old cars wont be a business except for deep pocket niche markets.

I hate EVs
EVS are not coming, they are here.
EVs make sense for the average commuter in the US
95% of the objections are poorly reasoned, poorly premised, or just plain Chiroptera Guano Delirus
