Correct color interior for my Pastel Green 53 Cdn Custom?

What is the correct color and style for my 53 Canadian Custom interior?

I'd like to redo it and want to make it as correct as possible.

Better yet, any one have any pics?

From the 1949 to 1959 Bob Wilson Book:

Cloth interior: P76 Gray Beige
Optional Leatherette: K110 Beige, or K107 Black
Headliner: H108 Beige
Carpet: 278 Gray Beige
Rubber mats: 041 Black

That probably is not much help, so good luck finding pictures.

The car looks great! IMO it would be more CDN Custom-y thusly:

Blackwall tires
No mudflaps
No fender skirts
No door handle guards
No running board chrome
black wiper arms and blades
black inside rear view mirror
Black 3-spoke steering wheel
Alloy hood handle
VW emblems in hubcaps black

His rear view mirror is correct. Also he does have black wiper bases which are super rare but I don't know where you would get wiper arms and blades. The running board chrome has to go!

no need to apologize lol, I appreciate the help.

All the Cdn Custom important interior bits are there. 3 spoke, wing nuts, black knobs, small headliner, rear view, correct heater knob etc. I have a 58000 mile horizon blue 57 Cdn custom as well....black wall 5.60 bias plys, no chrome etc.

Probably the main reason why I've never done anything to "d-bling" this one lol. Easy enough to remove stuff though.

I have the rear seat material still somewhat intact on my pastel 53 CDN standard project. I'll try to snap a pic next time I'm near it but the picture link that was previously posted is correct material and colour, which as far as I know is same as deluxe cloth material.

This is interesting to see. I have an aug 53 CDN custom. The front seats which I believe are original are green vinyl no piping. Car is L19 atlantic green. I am finally starting to work on it after 18 years. Don, you will be happy.

Dark green I’m assuming?

My Horizon blue 57 Cdn Custom has dark blue/navy seats with no piping.

Dark green upholstery is what I was thinking for this 53, I’d be shocked if they were cloth originally. I’m going to send away for the B.C. Hopefully they have info on the car and then we will know for sure.

Ok I'm finally tackling the interior. Last fall I ordered the correct cloth fabric shown above right from Germany.

I'm concerned about getting the upholstery correct. From what I gather the upholstery pattern is the same for the top of the seat and the bottom. The "VVVVVV" faces the same way. Up on the seat back and to the rear of the car on the base.

I've been digging around for pictures of the style.....exactly how the seats should be sewn. Standards are very basic, simple. Not the "H" pattern we see on deluxes.

There is NO piping on the seats, correct?

I would appreciate some input and preferably pics of standard cloth upholstery on 53-55s.

Door panels......The "VVVV" faces up. Any stitch lines at all? just a simple, plain covered door panel?

I just found these pics. The VVVVV is facing the opposite direction than what I thought is correct.

Also there is piping on the seats.

Yes. Front seats are bare frames but rear is intact. Door panels are somewhat there but tattered.

If it isn't too much trouble. I'd really appreciate a full picture of the door panels (I want to see the stitching pattern) and as big of a picture of the rear seat.

I want to know the orientation of material.
