A little more progress on the car. I got some Jokon reverse lights and camera installed. I also got my aux fuse panel and euro locking column in. Slowly coming together.

Before you have the fenders painted, make sure you have the body shop cut out one of the headlights and re-glass it in even with the other one. CCC has been selling those things for 30+ years, and every one of them has been cock-eyed. Kind of a bummer when you notice it after paints on.

I like this one,
Don't let the purist haterz stomp your buzz.

German lookers are the hardest of all to do,
And your stuff is all bolt-on anyways save for a few holes drilled, right?

Save the OG fenders and whatnot up in the attic for when you sell it so the new owner can take it back to stock! Razz

Thanks
Yeah I am keeping everything from the car in storage and trying to not do anything to the body that can not be reversed.

Why all the modern catalog parts and then use a classic plate? Also... I spy a large window cut out in the rear fender well.

I agree: "Kentucky Look". Rolling Eyes

Those holes are carb adjustment window that have a aluminum cover that goes on it

In Kentucky you get a tax break when you have classic tags.

Btw not sure what you mean by the Kentucky look Rolling Eyes

From page 1. Your mods are not to my taste but I'm just giving you a hard time. It's your car and I have a freak for sale in the classifieds, myself.

In Idaho it's $15 per year extra to run a year of manufacture plate but it looks cooler and you aren't required to run a front plate.

I like where this is headed. Maybe because I am nearby in Ohio.

The detail rim on the carb access port is cool.

Just bumping your thread to see if some more pictures pop up. I really like this build.
