I was worked for the elevator industry across from the Hudson River in Electronic Design Engineer. Worked in all of the famous building, like my favorites the Empire State, Chrysler, late Twin Towers, etc. One of the weirdest was when a friend invited me for a tourer on the Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, before it was restored and it became a Museum . That was in 1975. Yep that is me on an anti aircraft gun. Wow that was very cool being to able to control it in all directions. Must of scared the heck out a lot of people seeing I was aiming it at Manhattan. Oh notice the extra solid steel Bumpers on my Bug. I made them because people in DA BRONX parked by sound. Go back till you hear a bang, then go forward till you hear another bang. I remove then when I moved 35 miles north close to the Hudson.
