I have a Hella 500 Driving Lamp Kit to install on my 1995 EVC. Anyone already done this? If you have any pictures and step-by-step instructions, or advice I’d appreciate it. Particularly interested in:
-wiring through firewall (not sure how much it would matter, but it’s a manual transmission).
-Mounting lights on front bumper
-grounding and wiring switch in cabin
Thank you in advance! |

I haven’t fitted mine but my van has front fogs. The route through the firewall is to the left of the battery as you look at it. Big loom with rubber grommet and easy to pass an extra wire. There is grounding studs near the lights in the engine bay. In the cabin the wiring comes out in driver footwell so close to fuse box. There is a grounding point with loads of spare blade terminals by the steering column.
You can get standard size switches to fit in the blank slots. _________________ My van modification blog:
