| I saw Fleetwood Mac a few times in the late '70's (my then GF was a big fan) right after the Rumours album came out. They were pretty damn good. She will be missed. |

I have been a FM fan since the Peter Green days, and the 20-odd band variations since. Knew of Christine early in her career when she was "Perfect."
She was the glue that held that band together... the classiest of them all.
She revealed, "Stevie used to call me Mother Earth because I was always pretty grounded"

I remember 1977 as a kid playing in the pool that summer. We listened to the Rumours album everyday. Jeez, it's hard to believe that was 45 years ago...

Hiroshi “Hershey” Miyamura, the son of Japanese immigrants who was awarded the U.S. Medal of Honor for holding off an attack to allow an American squad to withdraw during the Korean War, has died.
The Congressional Medal of Honor Society announced that Miyamura died Tuesday at his home in Phoenix. He was 97.

Our family moved to San Diego in the early 60s. John Hadl was the dumb rookie QB behind Tobin Rote. Soon he got really good. Hadl-to-Alworth was a staple joy during Charger games.

Trivia: Before she officially joined the band, she did the cover pen artwork and provided some vocals on the 1970 Fleetwood Mac album "Kiln House."
She was contractually on another label at the time, so she got no credit on the album jacket. |

Dave Hillman, who pitched in 13 games for the 1962 Mets, died Sunday at 95. The right-hander, who was the oldest living Met, passed away from natural causes, the Bristol Herald Courier reported.

| Gaylord Perry, 84 and a HOF pitcher who was famous for throwing a spitter although it was actually a Vaseline ball. He won 314 games and pitched 5350 innings and had over 3500 strikeouts. He was as durable as they come. |
