Carburetor Inlet Fitting Weber Inlet -4AN Male to 10mm x 1.00 Male
I have what I believe to be this fitting. It came with a single aluminium washer.
When I screwed this into the fuel inlet on my Weber IDF 40 it stopped before crushing the washer. I added two more copper washers (all I had) and tighten everything up.
The AN part of the fitting did not leak but the other end threaded into the carb did.
It looked to be coming out from in between the washers. I had a bit of thread sealant and things were tight.
Shorten the threads? All aluminium washers? More thread sealant? New fitting?
I ran out of time and didn't get to experiment with other washer combinations,
or no washer at all, just thread seal and tighten?
Here's a picture of the offending part. I have too much time into this already.

I was able to stick a scale into the port on the carb and then measured the length of the fitting. 3mm just like the stack of copper washers I tried.
I took it to man with the lathe. He shaved 3mm (.187) off and faced the end real pretty.
I also picked up an Earl's aluminium crush washer with neoprene inner.
Pretty sure this will fix it. Funny thing, when I had the engine dynoed the shop mentioned I had a little leak on one side.
ASSuming the leak was on the AN side I replaced the AN fitting side.
But it was the fitting into the carb that didn't seal due to a lack of crush on the crush washer, because the fitting was too long or the carb wasn't tapped deep enough. God this forescis stuff if fun.
Thanks for the help.

Here's a picture of an Earl's deluxe crush washer and the fitting less three MM.
I really need a bench top lathe.
