Thanks, Bobnotch!

Next week the original drivetrain will be out of the car, and it will be time to start making additional measurements, getting the new trans mocked into place, and see what will fit in regards to the Subaru engine.

Progress for my car has been slow as Marshall Motorsports has been busy wrapping up other projects, which is fine as I haven't been pushing them or in a hurry. There were still some decisions to make. But I did get an update yesterday...the original engine and automatic trans are out of the car, and the Subaru 5 speed has been mocked into place. There is still a lot of work to do but things are starting to happen.

I have to source a good used rear trunk floor as mine is very rusty-the PO told me that the deck lid seal was bad and the car sat outside for a bit and rain collected here. So I will have to keep my eyes out for a donor luggage floor. If anyone has one for sale, please keep me in mind.

Zach is good peoples - and does great work! He did the 2.5 conversion on my '70 crew cab. The extra power transforms the truck. I've been following your build on the fastback - as I'm thinking of doing something similar with a '65 Squareback I also have.

Keep the updates coming!

@nynone, Thank you-I stopped by Zach's shop a couple of weeks ago. He is still working on seeing exactly what will fit. I do not want to loose the rear trunk, and am still looking to go turbo and have a/c. Not an easy feat but he is working on mocking up different options to make this work.
