Got this in a batch of speedos, marked '58. It seemed just different enough that I wasn't sure. The arm has some reflective stuff on it and the larger light at 12 o'clock was odd too. Not a typical clear needle speedo. Thanks

Does it have the turn signal lamp and oil/gen/hi-beam lamps? I can't see any, but maybe it's the dirty lens!
VW speedos didn't top out at 90 until '60 or so.
Maybe someone replaced the needle?; VW didn't put a chrome ting at the hub.
I am even wondering... non-VW? NSU or BMW maybe? |

That's what threw me phil. The rear looks VW for sure. Didn't take a picture of the back, can grab another tomorrow but the speedo mount and e erything else is exact of VW. The center black cap and chrome ring were odd too. Maybe a vdo replacement?

Maybe for a Ghia? I bought a few NOS speedo faces a few years ago. Sold them to a speedo restorer. One looked like this. I thought he said it was for a lowlight Ghia.

I'll look I to it. Come to think of it it was in a box with some vdo gas gauges and a amp meter gauge, so that may make sense.
