Thoroughly enjoyed your build so far! I too have a Safare Camper I am building on a 69' platform. Your original interior is amazing, never seen one in that condition. Great work with obvious skills and I cant wait to see the rest!
Q1: Where did you get, or what part number did you use for resealing the factory windows in the hightop?
Q2: No heat...or defrost capability other than cracking the vent window. Any plans on a diesel heater or fan plumbed into the dash heat tube system?
Q3: You hightop panels and woodworking. Do you have patterns for those or did you build them off the older ones? Would love a digital copy if you had one of the patterns if that is how you constructed them.
Looks good, Sash |

Made tons of progress over the last few weeks. I had the windows tinted with the clear UV tint, finished the 110 Volt and 12 Volt wiring, installed the reflectix on the roof, installed the house battery, filled the propane and got the stove working, the headliner, made a kick panel and a lot of little detail work.

Went to Buses by the Bridge and had a blast. Everything worked great......had an oil leak that I think I have resolved with a new distributor seal. I added a new steering wheel, cup holder, rerouted the breather lines, and picked up a Dahon Mariner folding bike.

Finished up the new cushions for the bus and added a new light. Not perfect, but I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

Had a problem with oil blow bye. So I did a leak down test and found there was a 20% blow bye. Removed and broke down the motor only to discover the cam and lifters weren't getting along. So new cam, lifters, bearings, seals and all back together.

I decided it was time to refurb the single wheel trailer I had picked up a few years back. I also decided to add a hitch to the bus and pick up another accessory.

Well, it's been a while. I finished up my trailer, bought a compressor, wired up a round 4 pin forthe trailer.
