With little to no information on 1998-2010 motor mounts
I'm here to see what i can figure out.
Ive been told that the engine mounting brackets are the same on all bodys
mk3 mk4 mk5 meaning the VR6 1.8 1.9L and 2.0T are the same brackets
Correct me if i am wrong.
Just looking for some insight based on a swap option..

MkIII are completely different. _________________ Everybody born before 1975 has a story, good, bad, or indifferent, about a VW.
GOFUNDYOURSELF, quit asking everyone to do it for you!
An air cooled VW will make you a hoarder.
Do something, anything, to your project every day, and you will eventually complete it. |

So with out modifications a Obd2 2.8 vr6 or a 2003.5 TDI wouldnt fix. |

Modifications to the car or engine aren’t necessary if you make your own mounts, or you can purchase them premade. Here’s one example…

Even on the mk3 one of the Cabrio mounts is different than the reg golf or jetta So who knows but if there's a will, there's a way.....Bill ....PR& VT |
