Evan contacted me about some parts I had for sale, stating he wanted to buy them and asked for payment instructions.
I packed up the items, calculated shipping and provided the payment info... no payment follow through or subsequent communication.
I wrote again, no reply.
Now a week later... I'll chalk it up to it being a transaction exercise.

I replied to an ad Evan posted for some late '55 beetle seats several years ago.(VERY rare, most people do not even know about this style.)
I drove up to meet with him and the seats were exactly as stated and pictured. I really liked seeing his shop and how organized he is and we have done a few very cool deals since then.
So, from my experience, Evan is first class all the way. Very knowledgeable and very active in the car industry. He is very honest and hard working. I know for a fact he has restored some very desireable VWs and Porsches just in the years I have known him, and they are BEAUTIFULL!
I personally can't imagine anyone having an issue with Evan. His prices are very fair for the condition of his offerings. I'd feel safe driving one of his builds anywhere.
You can trust Evan. _________________ Current projects:
