The stamped marks are usually manufacturer's marks that identify batch numbers. The inked marks are usually tolerance measurements. I'm not sure that's always true though.

Those are Porsche 915 gears. first photo is made 10/73 ratio NT
the 2nd was made7/74 ratio is TL ink stamp or hand printing is the matting number all porsche gears are ground and matched to it's mate.
the last is ratio RP
