Hello everybody.
I am restoring a 1965 beetle and the left side is really really nasty, so I will have to replace the quarter panels, i am a bit confused with the rear, i see that the 60-64 ones are sold up to the lip that is spot welded to the inner window frame, but the 66- ones are sold cut a bit under the window frame area. I saw one being advertised as ok to fit a brazilian beetle but not a european one.
so the 60-64 one will not fit since it has to accomodate the smaller window, but what should i get for the 65? not really into welding the whole side of the car just a breath away from the spotwelds..
Thanks a lot
