Hello Guys, looking to purchase 3 point retractable seat belts in grey with the stiff wire on the female side of the belt.
JBugs has their brand and CIP1 sells EMPI. Any thoughts on these or is there another brand that is better.

| I used hummv seatbelts off of ebay and they are a 1/8 the price of the Empi's. |

Do they have 3 pt retracts in grey

I installed the EMPI belts in my 66 Bug and have had no issues with functionality. They were easy to install in the factory pre-drilled and threaded mounting holes.
Of course, I have not had an accident, so I don’t know how well they would work when needed. 🤪

Thank you. What made you decide to put the retractor there, vs tucking it up close to the B-pillar.

At the time I was not aware of existing mounting holes on the B-pillars. I need to look into a change. Not sure how it mounts, but it should be self-explanatory once I dig in there.
