The washer bottle is one year only. It’s plastic, fits between the trunk wall and the hump back tank on the passenger side and has a distinct curve it it for the tank.
The nozzle is chrome. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

I think its a correct apron thats just been hacked by PO. Late ghias it was very nuanced.

As a data point, my 1970 Coupe (just drove it around yesterday on errands - no salt here now) has no indents for the twin tailpipes... I've owned it since I bought it off a VW dealership used car lot in L.A. way back in 1974!

If you look closely at the rear apron on the Ghia above you will notice the two shallow indents for the exhaust. They are to the left and right of the license plate at the bottom edge of the apron. |

Cool! Is the shop going to send you in progress photos? If so post them up.
You will be super happy with Jerry’s work. I have one of his pads on my 62. They are beautiful.
What bus did you get? You still have your mango? _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Hoping AAA plus will tow the ghia to the shop next week. Lowest bid i got was $400 bucks and thats to trailer it. Tow companies are $600-800 bucks to tow it 100 miles!! |
Maybe you'll have better luck than I did with AAA I had an $80 tow from the body shop to home and they denied it telling me that their towing benefit only applies to registered vehicles that are running and on the road. Maybe from state to state, the policies are different??
Exciting that the Ghia is now starting it's restoration. Can't wait to see some pictures. _________________ Marc

I paid. I know AAA would have given me a hard time and i wanted to get it up there sooner than later and not back him up. This gent has towed other classic vehicles in the past and was a great price and exhibited great care loading it.
