The first one is the brake master cylinder shield/rock guard. It bolts to the pan with 2-M6 hex head screws. Install it after you're done bleeding the brakes, as it'll catch and hold brake fluid.
The second one is the inside wiring harness cover. It goes from the front of the door opening to about the rear kick plates. Yes, it does get covered in carpet, as you've probably found some sort of gray adhesive on it (most do).

Hey, here's another update. This is from a while back but here are pictures of rebuilding the brakes and wrapping up the rear end of the chassis and getting it to all be one rolling unit.

Looks good. How do the stationary glass sealing lips look? Just asking as they're known to rust. Also, once you get the body back on, be sure to torque up the rear axle nuts to 253 ft lbs, before putting in the big cotter pin in place. Just a reminder is all, as we'd hate to see a tire and brake drum come off during a road test. Wink Nice progress though, keep up the great work, and keep posting up pics of your progress. Cool

So we've made a lot of progress since my last post, but we've come to a stand still and need some help. Before we get into trouble shooting I am going to fully update this. Here are some pics of us detailing and polishing the body.

Killer work! And outstanding garage. Those Fords in the background look like they are in great hands also.

Very nice! Are you going to use those plates? They can clean up pretty good and make a good difference.

The inner rockers look good. I'm surprised you didn't do outers to go with them. I know where I live, if the inners are shot, the outers are too. Usually it's the outers that are toast, and the inners aren't to far behind. Just a thought. Nice work though. Cool

The outer channels were pretty solid. We treated the interior rust with a clear POR15 and called it good.

Some more assembly, and rebuilding wing windows. We ended up getting a certificate and finding out the engine is original.
